Dr. Ronny is the Man!
“I went to Dr. Ronny last year, after reviews of Port Chiro’s and his website, which is very well done and full of good information. He has cured my pulled muscles which caused a limp, sore knee from strained tendons, and this week, the extremely excruciatingly painful hip and thigh pain from a herniated, bulging disc in my lower back is nearly gone. He did this by a good examination, questioning the circumstances, taking hip alignment measurements, starting off with light and gentle adjustments, massage, and great advice of rest, ice, heat and giving it time. His gentleness and professional manner are outstanding. I highly recommend him without reservations.”

Parents & kids feeling great

My younger son had recurrent ear infections that stopped completely as a result of being treated regularly by Dr. Ronny. My husband also sees Dr. Ronny as does my mother & father. I think that being adjusted is an important part of maintaining your health and supporting a healthy life.”

My wife began being treated by Dr. Ronny in November '07 based on a recommendation from a friend, and in turn she recommended that I see him and see where it goes. Having no prior experience with chiropractic, this was new to me entirely. I am 36 years old, run 15-20 miles a week, and lift free weights regularly. I was not injured and didn’t think of myself as someone who needed to be under doctor care for anything. Dr. Ronny did his initial evaluation where he takes postural pictures. I stood up straight as a Marine … or so I thought. Seeing the pictures, I didn’t need the computer to tell me that I was bent out of shape. I told Dr. Ronny that I’d give it a try to see if he could turn me into a believer by the end of the year.
The year isn’t yet over and I’m not just a believer, I’m a full convert and proselytizer. If you are reading this, you probably know the commonly cited benefits of chiropractic (better sleep, more energy, etc.). I’ve experienced these, but have noticed some personal improvements that I'd like to share:
1. Weight Lifting: I notice a clear difference in my balance. As in, I have it. Somehow now it seems obvious now that I didn’t have solid footing before being adjusted. At the time, I thought I was struggling to maintain proper technique at my upper weight limit. Not so … keeping proper technique is no problem now that my hips and lower back are aligned, even when I’m lifting a s much as I can.
2. Driving: I have always struggled to find a comfortable seat position. Where my arms would be comfortable holding the wheel, my legs would feel too close to the front for a long drive. Nothing serious, but enough to be annoying. A couple of weeks and several adjustments from Dr. Ronny and … voila! One day I get in my car and start moving the seat around. Suddenly I realize that it’s landed in some sweet spot. My hands are resting nicely and my legs are not twisted. It is so nice to feel like I actually fit in my car.
3. Sitting on the floor: This is something that I haven’t felt much like doing since high school. Cross-legged, leaning back, whichever which way, for the past 15 years or so I have found sitting on the ground to be uncomfortable to the point that I’ve wondered why anyone over 20 would want to try. One day recently I was playing with my sons on the floor. I realize: Hey, I’m sitting cross-legged ... but it isn’t awkward or tiring. I’m not ready to give up chairs, but being able to play on the floor comfortably with my boys is priceless.
